8-Light Brown Farmhouse Vintage Pendant Lighting With Adjustable Hanging Length

When I first ordered this item I had thought the stock was in Australia, so I was surprised to learn that customer service was in USA and the product was to be shipped directly to me from China. I am in Australia. This was a little disappointing as I like to buy from local suppliers and have the opportunity to seek further support if the item is any way faulty. I do note the ensuring customer service communication about shipping details was very good but I hadn't accounted for the long shipping process - so pros and cons there.
The item arrived well packaged and required some construction. Given the electrical wiring present, I opted to leave this for the electrician to unpack on installation. The chandelier was installed yesterday and while the dimensions were provided, the item is much larger than I had visually imagined. It is also exactly as pictured and much lighter than it looks - in fact it was lighter than a glass lampshade it was replacing. The distressed look is well done. One issue is that on construction, the final product is not very well balanced, meaning it hands a bit off centre and 2 of the lights sit a slightly odd angle. I am attempting to gently move/bend some of the arms to correct this but I am very cautious of causing damage as it is so light. I chose LED lights to fit it and the warm yellow casts a nice light without being overly bright given teh 8 bulbs. Overall, I am happy with the product but do strongly suggest you look closely at the dimensions if you are considering this item. It really does fill a large space.
